God’s People Handling Money God’s Way
Dave thinks that if God’s people handled money God’s ways. Meaning that if the church gave money and tythed like Moses commanded.
Planting the Corn
Dave says that in order to get corn you need to plant the seeds first, in other words, to get money you need to prepare yourself, like getting out of debt and creating certain accounts (like an emergency funds, to be used when an emergency occurs :) )
Money Isn’t The Root of Evil
Dave also comments that some people say that money is the root of evil, it is the holder of the money that can cause the evil. He also comments that we all too often think that we have to buy kids plastic stuff for Jesus's birthday…
(The first furniture that Dave Ramsey and his new wife bought was a couch and a table (Which they still have today) ) :D
